Grow a Pear

Grow a Pear is an action-packed, 2.5D game where players take control of a courageous pear navigating through various levels filled with waves of enemies. The unique twist lies in the fusion of side-scrolling platformer, bullet hell, and beat 'em up mechanics, creating an engaging and challenging experience.

Play as Pearcius, the survivor of "Pear picking", who is trying to make it back to his home! He can choose to go on this adventure solo, or accept aid from his fruity friends. There are multiple different upgrades, however you can only choose a limited amount of help, so choose wisely based on your playstyle!

This game was made in 5 days and is our submission for the "Soft GameJam"

I was a developer, along with Jayden Reinhardt, the artist is Jamie Lavin, and the sound producer is Joseph Hill / The Beat is Dirty.
